Laura Giddey is one of Auckland’s busiest marriage Celebrants - and for good reason. She is super lovely, calm, inclusive, and all about ‘you do you.’ So it came as no surprise that on her own Wedding Day with Oren they did exactly that.

The day started with the two of them getting ready together at home, no wedding party, just them - lush. And then once “Sexy Tinkerbelle” was ready (go check out that dress!), they wandered all their favourite spots along K-Rd to calm any nerves (and to soak up the day together!), getting photos with their mate Chris Turner… we went to the bookshop where Laura works, Oren’s favourite record store, and the aptly named “Besties” for a pre-ceremony coffee.

After coffee, they walked into their marriage ceremony together - were officially joined by their friend and fellow Celebrant, Philippa Thomas (flown up from Queenstown for the occasion), along with Miranda ‘Marry All the People’ as M.C. - before spending the rest of the day celebrating with all of their best people.

Good food, good friends, good music. “If this isn’t nice, what is?”
